Dan and I headed up to Heliotrope Ridge for some early season turns. Snow coverage starts on the road around 3000'. We walked through the woods and the snow was deep enough to skin above treeline. (With shallow windswept areas.) We did a few laps and headed back to the car. There were probably two dozen others up there all in great spirits.
