Ed Prosco and I are planning a climb of Huckleberry Sept 20 (date tentative) and we'd prefer a party of 4. Huckleberry is infrequently climbed; only 1 successful Mounties trip report. About 12 miles in from Gold Creek TH and 1 to 4 class 4 pitches. Considered an "Alpine Climb". Becky reports the first ascenders were so scared on the descent they wrote their wills on their shirts. We are not expecting such tribulations, but anyway I'm writing my will in advance and will use my shirt to clean myself if gets that bad.
Private climb. Basic grads ok. Speed and efficiency will be necessary for a succesful ascent. Will be looking to scramble or simulclimb as much as is possible.
